Today is the day that I give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for saving me. I was a diehard liberal, alcoholic and drug addict for a long time, and relied on liberal people for help with my problems. I grew up in Illinois and now reside in Portland, OR. I loved the people in the heartland, and through my alcoholism and drug addiction and listening to the wrong people (including family members) I became deluded into thinking and believing that the good people I knew growing up were backwards and ignorant,and liberals were wise and cared about me. Today I am no longer under the spell of liberalism, and because of it my family members are trying to "save" me because I am not with them politically. I know that it was not me that made the change, it is the Holy Spirit guiding me and waking me up from my slumber and realize that America and the rest of the world is declining spiritually and we need to follow the Spirit's guidance and remain prayerful , read God's Word and do not allow the devil to gain any foothold in our lives and stand up for what is right and start acting like the men and women of God that we are meant to be.
I would like to thank our men and women in uniform, the founding fathers of this great nation and people who everyday who are unashamed of the Gospel, because Christians all over the world are being persecuted and murdered for their faith.
